Tory
Tory is originally from Queens NY, but has been a Floridian for years now. She’s been an important part of our pack since BEFORE we opened up in 2003. In 2007, she cashed in all her biscuits and became an owner of PLC and continues to be a strong leader, compassionate person, animal lover, and special friend to all the dogs. Tory recently (2008) spent some time with Jamie in Colorado at a Wolf Sanctuary! There, she learned that our beloved, spoiled, hairy “children” here in South Florida, are not so different from their beautiful descendants, the wolves. She says this experience gave her a whole new appreciation and respect for our dogs here at PLC. Her 2 adorable rescue dogs are Isabella, a Terrier mix, and Alfred, a Lab mix.

John
John is from Washington, DC and since he walked in the door of PetLoverCentral, we all fell in love. He’s been sort of a big brother’ to many of us. He loved being here as much as we loved having him, so we made him promise us never to go and he became an owner in 2007. He’s got a HUGE heart and the dogs and humans know it. When he’s not running around our building, he enjoys time with his own dogs and swimming with his big boy Brady, a Shepherd/Rottie mix. His other animals are Caleb, a big silly mutt and Noel a Rat Terrier.

Bobbie
Bobbie is our resident “everything” but mostly, grooms a lot of dogs! She’s from Philadelphia but been here in South Florida for many years now. She enjoys biking, basketball, and especially, spending fun times with her grandson Lane. It feels like she’s been part of our team forever and she says she enjoys working here because “everyone is on the same page, it's all about the dogs” and she’s mom to her special rescued children: Spring and Tripper, both Standard Poodles, Fooey, a Pekenese, Roley Poley, a Welsh Corgi, and Thunder, a Portuguese Water Dog.

Chloe
Chloe is originally from Lynchburg VA and she's been part of our pack since 2006 but she fit in like family from day one! She’s a natural pack leader. When she's not adoring on the pugs here at PLC, she enjoys riding horses. She says she works here because everyone's so friendly and this is a dream job for her! She’d adopted Beasley from RRH, a rowdy, silly, goofy Shepherd mix who we all adore and her pets back home are, Chewy, a pug, Honey, a Rottie, Peaches, a Pitbull and lots of cats. (side note: we like her choice in dogs).

Rachel
Rachel is from Los Angeles, and she just loves all animals. It shows, and it's why she's working here with us! She spends ALL of her free time riding her horse BUCK! Neat, huh? She is a Pug lover too and her Pugs are Cheech and Chong.

Amanda
Amanda is from Wheeling, VA and she keeps our PLC pooches CLEAN and beautiful! She's been with us a few years now and she’s surely become part of the family (she made us work for it, trust me!), and she likes to play volleyball and travel on her off time. She says she works here because "she loves her boss" (we'll pay her later) and her own pets are Rosie a Bloodhound, Blue the blue Hound dog, and Cassius the Cat.

Scooter Marie, AKA Chopsticks
Scooter has been part of our pack since we opened. We had hoped to find her an amazing home through Rescue Rehab home but after all this time, meeting so many potential parents, she has decide to FINALLY adopt us! So, she is part of the permanent fixture at PLC and we're happy to have her. She's never late for work and usually has a smile on...If the studio hasn't been reserved for overnights, Scooter fills in there and keeps our night staff warm and cozy and she does an amazing job, each and every day!

Stephanie
Stephanie is from Delray Beach, FL and she’s been with us almost since our opening! She loves to work here because she gets to work with the best kind of people…”hairy ones.” They never talk back to her! Her hobbies are concerts and music, and photography. The dogs dig the music, especially her guitar playing. Her baby at home is Lucy, The Wonder Dog, a Dalmatian mix and she adopted Pigpen from RRH last year to complete her pack.

Heidi
Heidi is from Boston and has been surrounded by animals since she could speak. Even asked mom to “trade caring for dogs and cats for her horseback lessons.” It worked, and since then, she’s been around all kinds of animals big and small. Heidi works with Emergency Animal Rescue and in early 2006 fulfilled her dream and became a professional pet sitter, founding “Peace Of Mind Animal Care Services” which just about says it all. We are so proud to recommend our in home clients to Heidi and they thank us each and every time! She has a real passion and true love for all animals. Her own beasts at home are Chloe and Lexi, the dogs, Ray and Zach, the cats, and Daisy the box turtle, all rescues.

Heidi
Pete
Pete is originally from Philly, and became a Floridian in the summer of ’06. Since his fave thing to do is snowboarding, we hope the Florida sun will keep him here for a while. He’s a pleasure to have around and the dogs really dig him. He says being with the dogs here keep him calm and content. In 2007 he took on the additional responsibilities of training manager and he’s doing an awesome job training the staff, and our dogs! He grew up with a whole host of animals like Shepherds, Schnauzers, cats and more but last year, became dad to Sadie (pictured) and has shown her a life we could ONLY DREAM of for every rescued RRH dog! . When he’s not working, he likes drawing and singing (yes, we let him sign at work too).

Pete
Tara
Tara is from Terford, Pennsylvania and she (mostly) makes sure every 4 legged guest goes home clean, fluffy and smelling like roses!! She’s great at doing all kinds of dog stuff around here and we’re glad to have her. Her boxer is Cash and her Chihuahua is Kelly. Oh yeah, she’s got a python, a hamster and even a human child! When she’s not doing her thing here, she enjoys drawing, poetry, reading and making jewelry. She says she works here because everyone is super friendly, the facility is awesome and the Dogs are the best!!!

Tara
Dustin
Dustin is from Maine and we basically hired him because he has a Golden Retriever (only kidding) named Tucker who’s back home with the family. He says he loves our laid back environment and friendly crew of humans. Oh, and he loves the dogs too. The dogs really like him because he likes to turn up the volume on the IPOD and “get down with them and dance! They love it! When he’s not entertaining us, he likes riding his motorcycle and all kinds of sports.

Dustin
Liz
Liz is originally from Boston and she says she likes working at PLC because the people here are so caring (I'm not making this up), she has fun doing her job and she's loved dogs since she was a child. Gracie is her Golden Retriever (there’s no breed specific hiring requirements, we swear) and she fit right in even before she came to work here. The dogs love her relaxed authority and really respect and adore her. When she’s not working with our dogs and not studying hard at school she likes to go to the beach and working out.

Liz
Paulina
Paulina lives here in boca and as you can see, LOVES dogs! When she's not hanging out, or hugging our beasts, she likes to hang out with her friends and a mochachino low fat, super soy, grande, low carb, high energy coffee drink!

Paulina
Dana
Dana is from upstate NY and she loves being part of our team and working with the dogs. We love her good attitude and the dogs love and respect her. We’re all happy to have her. When she’s not playing leader to our pack, she likes to wakeboard and hang out with human friends, along with other fun stuff!

Dana
Kendra
Kendra is from Cleveland and is a licensed massage therapist. She’s a real animal lover and even takes home our RescueRehabHome dogs that are for adoption awaiting their real families. We really appreciate that and so do the dogs-she fit right in the moment she walked in our door. Kendra is a lot of fun to be around and while she’s not at work with us, she’s usually playing volleyball or softball.
