Meet our Petlover Central Pack!
Since 2003, Petlover Central has set it self apart as South Florida's Premier Dog Daycare and Dog Boarding Facility. Simply put, we offer the best care for our community's pets while ensuring a safe and loving environment where your pooch can spend the day or overnight.
We seek to hire only the most competent and experienced trainers and behaviorists to train, interview and certify the staff members who are responsible for taking care of your pooch at Petlover Central. In addition, our on-staff dog trainers reinforce our positive training techniques each and every day in daycare. This intensive training is necessary to ensure that all dogs who visit us are supervised by qualified, trained and patient "humans."
Every pack member of PLC gets to know and bond with each dog in our care. It's only part of what sets us apart from the others and why you and your pooch will love it here. Behind the scenes, the entire "Pack" at Petlover Central volunteers their time for the less-fortunate 4-legged pals of ours by grooming, training and even fostering shelter dogs saved from death row or the streets.
The entire staff of PLC is comprised of true animal lovers and we all have four legged family members of our own at home. We are extremely proud of our team as they work very hard and most importantly love what they do.......and it shows!
100% of the staff is trained in Pet First Aid and CPR.
The staff at Petlover Central is very pro-active with our 4-legged guests and continually nurtures good manners and basic obedience while they stay with us. There is no other like us and that's why we encourage you to come on in and meet with us, tour our facility (no appointment necessary) and see the amenities that we offer EXCLUSIVELY for your pet!
This is more than just a business for us and we promise to always do our best to make your dog most comfortable. We've go "above and beyond" to satisfy our canine clients, from taking dogs to our homes at night for special training and confidence building to offering very special care for our senior guests. You will feel GOOD about leaving your dog with their extended family here at PLC.
We hope to see you soon!
Our Caring Owners
John is from Washington, DC and moved to Florida in 2005. He began working at PLC while studying for the Florida Bar Exam. After passing the exam in 2006 and about to start a legal career, he realized his true passion was working with dogs and made it official in 2007 by becoming an owner at PLC. He’s got a HUGE heart and the dogs and humans know it. John has worn many hats at PLC over the years from dog handler, to bather, to manager and now owner and loves giving clients that sense of comfort knowing their four legged family member is happy and well taken care of at PLC. When he’s not at PLC keeping things running smoothly, he enjoys time with his rescue dogs Caleb (akita/chow mix), Bruno (mastiff mix) and Noel (rat terrier).
Tory is originally from Queens, NY and joined Petlover Central in 2003 before its door even opened. As a teenager she was intrigued by animal behavior and found her niche working in the pack environment at PLC. She then expanded her skills into dog training and behavior modification. Having found a love of working with our clients, both two and four legged, she became an owner of PLC in 2007. Most days you can now find her at the front desk helping clients, sometimes with the assistance of her adorable daughter Eva who, of course, is an animal lover too! But at the heart of it Tory loves working with PLC's clients, both canine and human, and ensuring we consistently provide the highest level of care and service. When she's not running the show at PLC you can find her hanging by her pool with her husband, daughter and adorable 2 rescue dogs Tuesday (Lab mix), and Bella (Brussel Griffon).
